| There Go My Roadie Dreams... |
| It is safe to say that I will never be a guitar technician. No touring guitarist, let alone any guitarist should ever let me touch their precious instrument. Awhile back I un-tuned my guitar, sort of on purpose. I had accidentally bashed it into something and I was checking the tuners to make sure they were not damaged. Basically I was just absently turning them. It wasn't a problem until I decided to pick up my guitar today to maybe work on a song. When it comes to my electronic tuner, I have only minimal understanding as to how it works. Anyways, I couldn't get my B string tuned and I was turning the tuning peg around and around, not paying any attention to how taut the string was getting when it goes ping and snaps! Darn. If I can't tune a guitar, I certainly cannot restring one. No guitar playing for me tonight. But let it be known the intention was there. I need to find someone to restring my guitar now. Either Miah or some person at The Rock Shop. But be warned, letting me near your guitar could be its downfall. Labels: guitars, Music |
